Each event that can increase or decrease the inventory level at a given point of time can be regarded as an inventory vector that can be used to draw up a graphical inventory profile.
The Inventory Event Buffer table is filled on request from the various sources of demand and supply such as when calculating a supply plan or when calculating an available-to-promise date.
