Specifies how many units of the item will be specified on the line. Even if you later change the item number, this quantity will remain on the line.
You must always fill in this field except on lines on which only the Description field is filled in.

| If you change the quantity, the program will update the contents of the Line Amount and Line Discount Amount fields. The contents of the Inv. Discount Amount field will be deleted if you change the quantity. This means that the invoice discount amount will have to be recalculated. |
