Specifies the item’s indirect cost as an absolute amount. The amount is added to the item’s unit cost to reflect indirect cost or overhead, such as freight and warehouse handling that are associated with the purchase of the item.

The value of the Overhead Rate field on the item card is copied to purchase lines and is used to calculate the value in the Unit Cost (LCY) field on a purchase line.
