Specifies the item’s indirect cost as an absolute amount. The amount is added to the item’s unit cost to reflect indirect cost or overhead, such as freight and warehouse handling that is associated with the purchase of the item.

The value of the Overhead Rate field is copied to purchase lines and item journal lines and is used to calculate the value in the Unit Cost (LCY) field on a purchase line and the Unit Cost field on an item journal line.
