The program automatically calculates and updates the contents of the field, using the Quantity field in the Item Ledger Entry table.
You can filter this field so its contents are calculated only on the basis of one or any combination of the following:

Global Dimension 1 values

Global Dimension 2 values
-
Locations
-
Item variants
-
Lot numbers
-
Serial numbers
You can also set a filter in the Drop Shipment Filter field so that the contents of the Inventory field are calculated on the basis of the items that will be shipped as a drop shipment.
To see the item ledger entries that make up the number shown, click the look-up button to the right of the field.
