Specifies the code for the number series that is used to assign document numbers to ledger entries that are posted from this journal batch. To see the number series that have been set up in the No. Series table, choose the field.
When you created the journal batch, the posting number series was copied from the Posting No. Series field in the resource journal template. You can change the code if you want a different number series to be used in this journal batch.
When you create a journal line in this batch, the contents of this field is copied to the Posting No. Series field on the journal line.
