Specifies a version stamp of the metadata for the object. If this version does not match the version that is expected by Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server, then the object cannot be run. The version is generated by the development environment when the metadata is generated.
The metadata version is used to ensure consistency between the compile-time version of an object in the development environment and the runtime version of the object in Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server.
