Indicates whether or not a reservation can be made for items on the current line. The field is not applicable if the Type field is set to Resource, Cost, or G/L Account.

Optional | You can make a manual reservation for items on this line. |
Always | The program automatically fills in this field when you enter the item number in the No. field on the job planning line. |
This field is filled in automatically. If there is no usage link, the field is set to Never. Otherwise, the value depends on the value that is specified in the Reserve field on the item card.
