Open the 
Phys. Invt. Item Selection window.
Contains all of the items to which a counting period has been assigned for which a physical inventory should be performed, according to the counting period, the last counting period update, and the current work date. To get the lines into the warehouse physical inventory journal or the physical inventory journal, select the items that you want to count.
If you know that you counted an item recently, you should not select it for counting again, but update the counting period of the item.
If you perform physical inventories according to the cycle counting procedure, you will update item counting periods immediately after you perform a cycle count.
After you do this, you can delete the item from this window. The item will not be retrieved until the work date falls in the new counting period.
