Open the Approval Setup window.

Specifies general information about the approval system that applies to all document types.

To use the default templates provided by Microsoft Dynamics NAV, you need to copy the templates to your database. For more information, see Setting Up E-mail Notifications.

The window contains two FastTabs with different kinds of information on each FastTab. Some of the features available in the window are optional.

General FastTab - Here you can specify the administrator of the approval system, set a due date for when a document should be approved by, and specify whether you want the approver to provide a reason why a document was rejected.

Notifications FastTab - This FastTab contains a list of the events you want users/approvers to be notified of. You can also see when the list of overdue approvals was last created.
