Before you upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2, you must verify that database integration properties are disabled.
To disable integration properties for the database
Open the database using the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic client.
Note In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2, the component that was previously called the Classic client is now called the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment, and is no longer an end-user client. Because this step references a Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 component, we use the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 name for this component—Classic client. On the File menu, choose Database, and then choose Alter Database.
Choose the Integration tab.
Clear all the check marks in the Maintain Views, Maintain Relationships, and Maintain Defaults fields.
Choose the OK button.
