If you are deploying your own Microsoft Dynamics NAV application on Windows Azure instead of CRONUS International Ltd., then you must create a backup of your application database before you start to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
To create a backup of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV database
Create a backup of the SQL database for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV application.

Copy the backup file to the computer that you will use to provision Microsoft Dynamics NAV on Windows Azure.
